Nutrizeal operates under several internationally recognised quality regimes:
- Nutrizeal is ISO 9001:2008 accredited.
- Nutrizeal is GMP certified for manufacture of non-sterile solid dose veterinary medicines by New Zealand’s Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines (ACVM) unit of the New Zealand Food Safety Authority.
- Nutrizeal operates a Risk Management Programme registered with and audited by the New Zealand Food Safety Authority. The programme incorporates the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) management system.
- Nutrizeal’s plant is authorsied by the New Zealand Food Safety Authority to export products.
- Nutrizeal is a certified organic processor with registration from BIOGRO and iFoam for export .
- Nutrizeal holds a current Kashrus Certificate for processing Kosher products.

Quality testing is undertaken on ingredients and finished products and specific customer testing requests are routinely undertaken.
Nutrizeal utilises the laboratory services of the Cawthron Institute which is an IANZ and GMP accredited laboratory.
Nutrizeal has over ten years experience in handling the regulatory requirements and documentation for bulk and retail product in New Zealand and other significant export markets such as Australia, Asia, Europe and the USA.
